Deoxyarbutin, as a new generation of cosmetic brightening and whitening active agent, is mainly used in advanced whitening cosmetics.

D-Arbutin is one of the derivatives of Arbutin, called D-nenenebb arbutin, which is a very effective inhibitor of tyrosinase and has an obvious blocking effect on the formation of melanin in the skin. According to research, its effectiveness is 350 times that of ordinary Arbutin.

D-Arbutin can quickly and effectively whiten the skin, and after discontinuing use, the effect can still be maintained for nearly 8 weeks. Local use of D-Arbutin for 12 weeks can achieve a significant skin lightening effect, and it has a good improvement effect on daily light exposure spots and dark skin conditions.

Deoxyarbutin is a new generation of cosmetic skin lightening and whitening active agent.

When D-Arbutin is stopped, the tyrosinase activity and melanin content in the skin will slowly recover, which means that D-Arbutin will not cause toxicity to melanocytes, allowing melanocytes to maintain normal physiological mechanisms. In an 8-week clinical study, topical use of D-Arbutin can achieve a gradual but obvious skin whitening effect. Another clinical study further pointed out that using an appropriate concentration of D-Arbutin solution can achieve good clinical results within 3 weeks. Moreover, according to experiments, the anti-melanin effect of D-Arbutin can reach 10 times that of , 150 times that of kojic acid, and 350 times that of general arbutin (β-arbutin).
