Epoxidized hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene liquid rubber is a product that introduces epoxy groups into the main chain of hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB), which can effectively increase the molecular polarity and reactive functional group content, and can greatly improve the mechanical properties, bonding strength and heat resistance of polyurethane materials.

The epoxy groups in the molecule can undergo cross-linking reactions with various types of curing agents to form polymers with a three-dimensional network structure. The cured epoxy polymer has good physical and chemical properties, excellent bonding properties to metals and various non-metallic materials, good dielectric properties, small shrinkage, high hardness, and stability to alkalis and most solvents

Applications

Improved polyurethane properties: EHTPB can cross-link with the amino active hydrogen in the cross-linked curing process of polyurethane, thereby improving the mechanical properties, bonding strength and heat resistance of polyurethane materials.
Toughening epoxy resin: EHTPB can improve the toughness of epoxy resin, especially under the action of coupling agent, the sample containing more than 20% of liquid rubber can be prepared, which makes the toughening effect more significant .
Solid propellants: EHTPB can be used in the manufacture of solid rocket propellants to improve the overall performance of propellants by improving their molecular polarity, adhesive properties, and aging resistance.
Coatings, adhesives and electrical insulation materials: EHTPB is widely used in coatings, adhesives and electrical insulation materials and other fields

Function

It is mainly used in the preparation of special adhesives, sealants, coatings and elastomers. It can also be used as a toughening agent for epoxy resins. It has broad application prospects in the fields of vehicle body structural adhesives, electronic potting adhesives and medical product packaging. This product is a halogen-free product.
