1. Reaction Catalyst: Tetrabutyl titanate is an effective catalyst in esterification, transesterification, condensation, and addition reactions, or as a polymerization Ziegler-Natta catalyst. Unique reaction products include: polyesters, plasticizers, various esters, polyurethanes, etc. Benefits of using tetrabutyl titanate include elimination of by-products, increased yields, ease of handling, low catalyst concentrations, and low toxicity.
