It is the sodium salt of persulfate (also called peroxydisulfate), an oxidizer.It is almost non-hygroscopic and has good shelf-life.Appearance is white crystal powder, odorless. It dissolves in water. Used as bleaching agent, oxidant, emulsion polymerization promoter.
