Ethylferrocene has been used as a modifier of increasing burning rate in composite solid propellants which is possessed of the features of good burning and catalytic reaction rate.

It has been used as an annexing agent of civil liquid fuel to enhance burning efficiency. Ethylferrocene has been use to develop the light-sensitive GEMs electrode device by screen-printing
