Octadecyl. isocyanate is a colorless liquid with a pungent odor. It is an ester compound obtained by the reaction of isocyanic acid and octadecyl alcohol. Octadecyl. isocyanate is widely used in industry as solvent, plasticizer, lubricant, corrosion inhibitor and so on. Its good chemical stability and compatibility are often used in the preparation of polymers, synthetic resins and coatings.
