It has good chemical stability, is insusceptible to ceramics firing atmosphere, can obviously improve the glaze-body bonding performance of ceramics and the hardness of ceramic glaze, and is widely used in the production of various building ceramics, sanitary ceramics, domestic ceramics, first-class ceramic artware, etc.

Zirconium silicate has also been further used in the production of color picture tube in TV industry, emulsion glass and enamel glaze in glass industry.
