Calcium choride dihydrate is a white or gray chemical, often in granular form, and one of the most widely used areas on the market today is as a snow melt agent.Highly hygroscopic, easy to deliquate when exposed to air.It is soluble in water and gives off a lot of heat. Its aqueous solution is slightly alkaline.Soluble in alcohol, aceton e, acetic acid.
