Tin dioxide is also called "tin oxide", "tin anhydride", "tin ash", and the natural mineral is called "cassiterite". Chemical formula SnO2. Molecular weight 150.69. Tin dioxide exists in nature in the form of cassiterite. Cassiterite is generally reddish brown, in the form of particles or blocks, mostly dispersed in granite, and is the main ore for refining tin.
