Product Description

The pure product is colorless and transparent orthorhombic crystals, and the aqueous solution is acidic. It is insoluble in alcohol, aceton e and ammoni a water[1]. It is hygroscopic, and solidifies into a block after absorbing moisture. It is completely decomposed into ammoni a, nitrogen, sulfur dioxid e and water when heated to above 513°C. It reacts with alkalis to release ammoni a gas. Reacts with barium chlorid e solution to produce barium sulfate precipitate. It can also salt out the protein.
