Melamine Resin is a specially-designed hexa(methoxymethyl) melamine resin (HMMM). With its precisely controlled functionality, Melamine Resin shows high reactivity to polyfunctional coating resins. It is recommended for the application in conventional high solids and solvent-borne coating systems. In comparison with butylated amino crosslinkers, only one-half amount of Melamine Resin is required to achieve superior physical and chemical properties of cured coatings, which includes flexibility, gloss retention, hardness, impact resistance and MEK rub resistance.
