Ammonium/fluoride is an ionic compound. At room temperature, it is white or colorless transparent rhombic crystals with a slightly sour taste. Deliquescent, decomposed into ammon ia and hydrogenfluoride by heat or hot water. Dissolved in hot water, the aqueous solution is strongly acidic. It is neutralized by anhydrous hydrofluori c acid and liquid ammo nia. Can corrode glass, corrosive to ~. Can be used as a chemical reagent
