Introduction
Methyl ethyl ketoxime, alias butanone oxime, methyl ethyl ketoxime, colorless oily liquid. It is mainly used as anti-scaling agent and silicon curing agent for alkyd resin coatings, as well as deoxidizer for boiler water system.
Functions and Applications
Colorless liquid. The density is 0.9232g/cm3(20ºC). Melting point -29.5ºC. The boiling point is 152 ~ 153ºC. The refractive index is 1.4410. Flash point (open cup) 69ºC. Soluble in water. It can be mixed with ethanol and ether. Is prepared from methyl ethyl ketone and ammonia water under the action of sulfuric acid. It is mainly used as anti-skinning agent and silicon curing agent for alkyd resin coatings.
